第一、英国大学世界排名靠前

QS 2020世界大学排名中，在Top 10的排名中英美高校强势占领9位，其中美国5位，英国4位。

第二，英国牛剑较美国藤校录取率高

对比常春藤，英国牛剑的录取率是相当高的。美国藤校的录取率在4%左右，而英国牛津大学、剑桥大学的录取率分别为18%和24%。也就是说，上牛剑的概率，略大于爬藤的概率。

第三，英国申请条件简单，主要靠成绩说话

美国申请除了GPA之外，还要有若干非常拿的出手 、有辨识度、与专业相关的背景提升活动。而英国则主要看中学生的学术能力。

 英国G5对AP的要求

 

剑桥大学

总体来说，剑桥大学要求申请者：

1. 高 GPA

2. 5门AP：★ 相关学科；如该科目要求A level数学或者高阶数学，需提供微积分BC，如该科目要求A level物理，需要提供AP物理C力学+电磁学；★ AP成绩不要求在一年内完成。

3. SAT1/ACT：★科学和经济相关专业要求SAT1总分1500（单项750），其他专业要求SAT1总分1460（单项730）；★不接受SAT1拼分人文社科专业要求ACT至少32，科学类专业要求ACT至少33。

4. SAT2：一般不可替代AP成绩，若实在无法提交AP，请联系校方获取关于SAT2的建议。

5. 语言成绩：★ 雅思总分7.5，单项不低于7.0。★ 托福总分110，单项不低于25。

牛津大学

总体来说，牛津大学要求申请者：

1. AP: 至少3门5分AP

2. SATs/ACT：

★ACT至少32 ；

★SATs 1470（不要求写作）；

3. SAT2：

★至少3门700+；

★接受AP+SAT2组合或者其他组合方式(科目不重复)；

4. 语言成绩：

★Standard level: 雅思7.0，单项6.5。托福100，听力22、阅读24、口语25、写作24。

★Higher level: 雅思7.5，单项7.0。托福110，听力22、阅读24、口语25、写作24。

帝国理工学院

帝国理工学院是G5中唯一一所把每一个专业需要的AP科目都列出来都学校。

总体来说，帝国理工学院要求申请者：

1.   AP：3-4门5分;

2. SAT/ACT：不要SAT/ACT成绩。

3. SAT2：官方未明示相关要求

4. 语言成绩：

★Standard雅思6.5，单项不低于6.0。托福92；单项不低于20。

★Higher雅思7.0，单项不低于6.5。托福100；单项不低于22。

伦敦政治经济学院

总体来说，伦敦政治经济学院要求申请者：

1. GPA：3.7+

2. AP：

★3年内AP成绩区间在55555-55544之间；

★AP seminar和 AP Research不计算在内，AP微积分AB和BC只算一门AP。

伦敦政治经济学院给出了A Level和AP的成绩转换，具体的AP要求还要视专业而定。

The SAT Reasoning Test (formally called Scholastic Aptitude Tests)

The SAT Reasoning Test does not form part of any entry requirement for LSE programmes.

The ACT (American College Testing)

The ACT does not form part of any entry requirement for LSE programmes.

Students applying from an American university

Students applying from American universities should have a minimum GPA above 3.3 and preferably a 3.5 (on a 4.0 scale), or above 4.0 (on a 5.0 scale), or a minimum average of 80 per cent overall.

3. 语言成绩：

★雅思7.0，单项不低于7.0。

★托福100，写作27、阅读25、听力24、口语24。

伦敦大学学院

总的来说，伦敦大学学院要求申请者：

1. GPA：3.3

2. AP：有5门或3门AP

3. SAT/ACT：

★SAT1380分；

★ACT29(10 in writing score)

4. SAT2：AP+SAT2组合(其中至少有三门AP）

5. 语言成绩：

★Standard level雅思6.5，单项不低于6.0。托福92；阅读与写作不低于24，口语与听力不低于20。

★Good level雅思7.0，单项不低于6.5。托福100；阅读与写作不低于24，口语与听力不低于20。

★Advanced level雅思7.5，单项不低于6.5。托福109；阅读与写作不低于24，口语与听力不低于20。

6. AP成绩：

•Five AP subjects, taken in the final three years of high school；

•High achievement in three AP subjects, when combined with a High School Graduation Diploma with 3.3/4.0 plus a SAT I with a minimum score of 1950/2400 (old test) or 1380/1600 (new test), or an ACT of 29 in the Composite Score and 10 in the writing score (or combined English/writing Score if taken before 2015)；

•High achievement in combination of five distinct AP and SAT subject tests, to include at least three AP's.
